Anglesea is the mid-point of the Surf Coast Walk, a cliff top and forest walk connecting to Torquay and Aireys Inlet.
The path to Torquay will take you through the clifftop heath, Great Otway National Park, Point Addis, Bells Beach and Jan Juc.
The path to Aireys Inlet takes you over the Anglesea hill towards Point Roadknight, Urquahart Bluff, past the Split Point Lighthouse to Aireys Inlet.
The Surf Coast Walk also hosts several popular trail running events including the Surf Coast Century, Surf Coast Afterglow and Surf Coast Trail Marathon.
