The step by step directions below should take you there:
- Travel from Melbourne city onto the Westgate Freeway
- Continue onto Princes Freeway
- Continue onto Geelong Ring Road
- Take the exit toward A1/A10/Colac/Grovedale
- Turn right onto Colac Road
- Slight left onto Anglesea Rad
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Great Ocean Road
By Train
Travel-time - 1h 30m
A train operated by V/Line is available from Melbourne to Geelong or Warrnambool. To get to Anglesea, you must get a bus from Geelong's main train station.
Railway service is also available going to and coming from surrounding towns or villages - like Colac, Newport, and Winchelsea among others- in varying times but are not available 24/7. Coaches will replace trains on the evening Geelong service, depending on availability.

V/Line Services run from Geelong, through Torquay to Anglesea every day of the week, for a bus timetable visit www.vline.com.au/Timetables/Train-coach-timetables. Locally there are V/Line services provided by McHarry's Bus Lines are available going to and coming from surrounding villages and towns of Anglesea in varying times but are also not available 24/7.

Avalon Airport

Also known as Tullamarine Airport, is 122 kilometers away from Anglesea. It is the second busiest airport in Australia.
